Let me see in my frailty only
Reason to delight in Thy power;
In my uncertainties,
Reason to rest in Thy peace;
In my unknowingness,
Reason to trust in Thy omniscience.

Yet let it not be only sin that shows me Thyself,
For so good things still are shadows of Your Truth.

So in my joy let me seek
The eternal Mirth;
So in my hope let me search
For the One beyond hope,
So in my love let me know
That Love which died for me.
