I'm grateful for . . .
all the fresh pumpkins we've enjoyed eating in various forms this season . . .
a lovely visit with our in-laws at our home yesterday
the little opportunities to teach my big guy about life. One highlight was watching the sparrows in the parking lot as we grocery shopped, and talking about how God cares for and watches over the sparrows, just like He does for us. Another was planning a trip to the library with him, walking up to the door, only to find it closed. I absolutely hate when sadness or things my little guy can't understand come into his little day to day. But it was such a good opportunity to talk to him about disappointment, and how we could be thankful that there is another library only a few minutes away that we were able to visit!
