This paper will explore the power of allegory as contrasted against other types of stories.
I propose that allegory requires a different level of thought; using Bloom's Taxonomy as a reference point, I wonder if allegory draws on higher level thinking skills, particularly analysis and synthesis.
After all, Jesus told parables . . . so far I have ideas from a strictly temporal perspective and yet what does this look like from a Christian perspective?
